Rhetoric and Fog

After graduating from university, I came back to New Mexico and got down to work for the New Mexico Legislative Finance Committee--the permanent committee of the state legislature that develops the state's operating and capital budgets. After a year of government service, I decided to strike out on my own and pursue several business ventures.

As we all know, New Mexico, like most states, continues to face daunting fiscal challenges. For us to come out of this--hopefully, stronger than when we went into it--will require significant collaboration and cooperation between stakeholders in-and-outside of government.
